We bring our heart and soul to the streets where we serve our food. The atmosphere of a market is vibrant, full of social activity, creativity, musicians busking, fresh market produce and it is a place to satisfy your taste. Our customers love our food and that's why we come to the market with our stall.

You can find us on Stroud Farmers Market where we will be serving freshly fried samosas, samosa chaat (a classic street food served across India), a variety of other Indian snacks, chai tea, mango lassi, dal and rice, tasty wraps and lots of food you can take home cold.

Stroud, every Saturday - Threadneedle Street, 9:00-14:00.

About Us

Our recipes are whole food, plant based nutrition, that use traditional Indian spices and flavours to bring you delicious meals. We only use fresh, good quality ingredients, that offer you and your family delightful, home cooked meals that are nutritionally balanced. We believe that eating well holds the key to a happy life and healthy body. The way we cook for you is the way we cook for us. Whole beans, pulses, lots of veg and a perfect balance of spices and flavour. And, by including meals that are plant based in your diet, you are helping the planet too! The inspiration for our meals comes from our Gujarati heritage where they have mastered healthy vegetarian cooking and know-how to pack flavour into every dish. My father, Girish, has been making food for Stroud for the past 30 years and our freshly made samosas have been an integral part of the Farmers Market.

Sustainability

We feel it is our responsibility as a takeaway food business to be as environmentally friendly as possible, in all aspects, but especially regarding disposable food containers. We only use plant based packaging and utensils. The raw materials are from recycled, reclaimed or sustainable sources. The ‘plastics’ are made from plant sugars, even the glue used to bind the containers is vegan! This should be put into council food waste collection and is not designed for garden composting or paper/plastic recycling.
